Privacy policy.

This policy explains what Melloworks collects through melloworks.io and account.melloworks.io, why we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to answer inquiries, send requested email, provide accounts and purchases, and keep the services working safely.

1. Who we are

Melloworks is a DBA of Futurovend LLC. In this policy, “Melloworks,” “we,” and “us” refer to Futurovend LLC when it operates melloworks.io.

2. Information you give us

We collect information you choose to submit:

  • Project inquiries: your name, email address, project description, and optional budget range.
  • Newsletter signups: your email address and your subscription or unsubscribe status.
  • Messages and calls: information you include when you email us or book a call through a linked scheduling service.
  • Account sign-in: your email address, sign-in method, and the security records needed to authenticate you. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your verified email address; Melloworks does not receive your Google password.
  • Purchases: your receipt email, the product or service purchased, order and entitlement records, and related support history. Payment-card details are entered on Stripe and are not stored by Melloworks.

3. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested page, and diagnostic or security logs. We use this information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

The account service may also record successful sign-ins, purchase status, licences, downloads, and subscription status so it can show what belongs to you and prevent unauthorized access.

The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. Melloworks.io currently does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising analytics.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries and decide whether a project is a fit.
  • Send the newsletter when you ask us to, and process unsubscribe requests.
  • Authenticate your account and send one-time sign-in links.
  • Process purchases, deliver products or services, maintain entitlements, and provide support.
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site.
  • Meet legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and services.

Where applicable, we rely on your consent for newsletters; steps requested before entering a contract and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries; and legal or security obligations for necessary operational records.

5. When information is shared

We use service providers only as needed to run the site and communicate with you:

  • Vercel hosts the website and its serverless contact and signup endpoints.
  • Vercel and Neon host the account service and its customer, order, and entitlement records.
  • Resend delivers inquiry messages, newsletters, receipts, and one-time sign-in links.
  • Google provides sign-in only when you choose the Google option.
  • Stripe hosts checkout, processes payment information, and sends us the order information needed to fulfill a purchase.
  • Cal.com processes information you provide after choosing the external “Book a scope call” link.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. Melloworks.io does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

We keep inquiry and account-security records only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, protect the service, manage a potential or active business relationship, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Newsletter contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, subject to a limited suppression record needed to honor your choice.

Purchase, tax, accounting, licence, and entitlement records may be retained for the period required by law or reasonably needed to provide the product, prove ownership, prevent fraud, and handle refunds, disputes, or support.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any newsletter. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain uses of your personal information.

Email hello@melloworks.io to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may be retained when the law allows or requires it or when it is needed to preserve a purchase or licence you asked us to maintain.

8. International processing

Melloworks and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your home country. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This business site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes will be given additional notice when required.
